ENSEMBLES
The Tucker High School Marching Band
The Marching Band Program is open to all instrumentalists in the Tucker High School Band Program. It is preferable, that all band students be enrolled in Band Class. Participation in Marching Band requires a commitment to afterschool rehearsals every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:45-7:30 PM from August through December. The Marching Band performs at all football games, including pre- and post- season, in addition to parades and other special events.
The Color Guard is an auxiliary program that is a part of the Marching Band. Auditions for the Color Guard are held in the spring semester. Participation in Color Guard requires a commitment to afterschool rehearsals every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:45pm – 7:30pm throughout football season.
Middle School Ambassadors are 7th and 8th grade students recommended by the Tucker Middle School band director to participate in the Tucker High School Band Program. Selected students will ride the afterschool activity bus to THS each afternoon to participate in all band rehearsals and performances.

Participation in an Ensemble requires a commitment to after school rehearsals once a week all year long. The Tucker Chamber Winds will perform at Tucker Music Department concerts, Tucker Day and other special events.
